The 4-hour workweek by Timothy Ferris'

---------

suppose that two people are making 50,000 dollars a year. the first one works 20 hours a week and the latter works for 80 hours a week. which one do you think is much wealthy?

you are right if you think that the second one is much wealthy. let's dive deep into the concept and see what can make an individual richer.

Most of the people consider one parameter as the measurement of wealthyness: the raw income. person A who makes $100K a year is considered twice as rich as the person B who makes $50K a year.

but the fact is that one variable is not enough to have a realistic measurement of wealth. adding a Time parameter can make our evaluation model more realistic and corrcet.

having both of the parameters in mind, let's look again at the example we just saw before. The person A makes 100K dollars a year,  working 50 weeks and 40 hours a week thus making $25 per hour. on the other hand, the person B who makes $50K a year, working 50 weeks, 10 hours per week, earns  $100 per hour. hence, the person B is four times as rich as the person A.
